Andy Penniceard
Andy has coached and taught for many years, his passions are any sport with an egg shaped ball. After playing and coaching both Union and League and not getting any younger, Andy was looking for a game to play that was less contact. He started playing social touch on the common in South West London in January 2016 and he loved it. He had no idea there was another level until he went down to a CSSC Touch Rugby training session and actually saw how this game was played, high speed, structure, skilled. He was blown away. He launched Wolves Rugby Club to introduce this amazing sport to youngsters including his children who now all play. Since then he has played and managed England squads and has been coaching the England mixed U15's team since September 2017 and lead them to a 12019 Gold medal at the Junior Touch Championship in Paris. Andy also coaches at Harlequins DPP, Surrey Rugby and is Head Coach for Battersea Ironsides Womens RFC. When asked about why he coached he said "I get a lot of satisfaction watching players abilities develop and I love the game, also a fantastic ways of meeting friends for life".
