NEW Partnership

Wolves & Streatham & Clapham Partnership Announcement
We’re thrilled to announce our new official partnership with Streatham & Clapham High School, whose girls have played a vital role in Wolves Touch Rugby over the past four years. From Friday night socials to England representation, SCHS players have been right at the heart of our journey — and it’s brilliant to now formalise this connection.
Special Offer for SCHS & GDST Girls
New to Wolves? SCHS & GDST girls get their first four session completely free – no commitment, just come down and give it a go.
This partnership is supported by Try-Sports, who run the Centre of Excellence for England Touch and organise the UK’s largest inter-schools Touch Rugby competition, with over 300 teams and 1000+ players taking part annually.
We’re also expanding our efforts to grow the game with support of SCHS, including:
-
Working with GDST schools across the country to grow the game over the next six months
-
Launching a new GDST Schools Touch Festival in March
-
Hosting a Touch Rugby CPD session at Streatham & Clapham for all teachers
-
Open to GDST schools and local state schools
-
Focused on developing Touch Rugby within PE and after-school programmes
-
-
Offering Young Leaders courses for pupils and players
-
Ideal for those who want to support events, officiate matches, or learn to coach
-
This is a really exciting opportunity to grow the sport — and we’re proud to be doing it with Streatham & Clapham.

Wolves is a non-commercial community sports club and not-for-profit organisation where all the money we make goes back into the club. Through generous sponsors, we are proud to offer bursaries to players.
We pride ourselves on an excellent balance of fun and learning, incorporating game-sense training into all sessions. This is backed up by our head coach and founder, Andy Penniceard, who has not only represented England in a playing capacity but also coached England's mixed U15 squad to Gold in 2019 and, post-pandemic, the Girl's U18 to Gold in 2021 Europeon Touch Championship , 2023 Youth Atlantic Cup and 2024 Europeon Touch Championship and now the 2025 Youth Atlantic Cup. Wolves regularly have guest coaching from internationally capped players, adding an extra element to the kid's training.
We are London's if not Englands Only structured Touch Rugby Club for boys and girls up to the age of 17. We offer amazing opportunities for our players to try out for regional and England selection. We currently have over 52 players that have been selected for England squads in 2024.
